This past year has taught me that there is a silver lining in all that we go through, but only if we choose to embrace it. I have come to grips with the fact that all is fair in love and war. You win some, you lose some. Some are just not worth fighting for. Life is full of choices. I love my boys, Kailon and Kambren, with every fiber of my being, but motherhood does not define who I am. I am multi-faceted. In the infamous words of Katt Williams "Eff looking to others to build your self esteem. Do what it says...esteem yourself!" Every time I look in the mirror, a gorgeous, alluring, charismatic woman stares me in the face. Conceited? Far from it, but I do love myself. True fulfillment begins with self love. I love and fear GOD, but I renounce any notion that would cause me or others to believe that I am perfect. I thank HIM for grace and mercy. I know that I consume more than my fair share on a daily basis. Through it all, I still find a smile from somewhere deep inside. A joyful heart makes a cheerful countenance!..
