Many Seattle-ites have discovered the power of hypnosis to create positive powerful permanent change peoples lives. The Practice Group offers hypnotists an opportunity to demonstrate and practice, to get referrals, and for many of us who are maintaining day-jobs in other careers while practicing hypnosis. The Practice Group also offers those seeking Hypnosis, to evaluate different hypnotists, and is an opportunity for those who want help and are unable to pay. There is no charge - and this is contrary to general hypnosis practice. It is a fact that if you pay for the hypnosis, you are that much more motivated to accept the suggestions....The purposes of the group are,* To offer help to those who are already highly motivated to change even without paying - those who really need the help.* To introduce hypnosis and hypnotists to newcomers, and,* For Seattle-area hypnotists - especially those with day jobs. There is no need to charge - for the purposes of this group, therefore there is no charge.
Anton Mesmer liked Glass Harmonicas - Benjamin Franklin had one custom-made as I understand. They liked the same music. There arent very many CDs out there with Glass Harmonica music.Video demonstration of the Wine Glass Harmonica - sounds just like the real thing.Other than that, there is a ton of good hypnosis music available today.
There are a ton of good hypnosis instructional videos available today. One that I think everyone should see is a DVD called Emergency Hypnosis, by Gerald Keine.
One good use of television is to do something else such as knitting, excercising, or practicing a musical instrument while watching TV - if you do something like that, you will reduce some of the harsh effects of TV.
There are a ton of good hypnosis books out there, as I understand the reigning #1 book of all time is: 'Hypnotherapy' by David Elman. For whatever reason its only available in a hardback and not too easy to get.Ormond McGill's book is also big, and also 'Finding True Magic' - a less prominent book written by a guy right here in Ballard.
