About Me

Hi-Def is one of tha Shark Tanks most infulentual rappers to date. As a youngin comin up on the South wing of tha Tank, Hi-Def encounterd many obstacles and challenges which would change his life as we know it today. Coming from a broken home, and witnessing alcholism, drug abuse, spousel abuse, and gang violence first hand, Hi-Def would retreat to tha streets to pounder a way to get away from all the pain and stress. In 1990 Def would meet 2 men who would teach him about tha rap game, become his business partners and best friends , B Knockin & Skohee. These 3 would later make up the San Jo rap super group "Complex". Now 10 years in the game and a new Complex album out, "Holdin tha Crown", Hi-Def is in the studio now recording his solo album, and workin on new Complex material. A hard worker and dedicated to making money motivated tracks, Hi-Def is a MC you don't wanna sleep on.
