About Me

I live with my cat. I am told I'm goth (I don't fit into a little label. I hate labels, but if I must be labeled like everybody is then that suits me and my style best I suppose). I'm a night person. I change society's rules and do what I want to do. I am rebellious, and always have been. I am an Aries, my rising sign is Gemini.

Books:

I love Edger Allen Poe stories. My favourite Poe story is The Murder In the Rue Morgue. The introduction is the perfect description of Gothic life. Living almost entirely in darkness, sleeping during the day (the shutters are always closed to exclude daylight) and spending the nights in study or roaming the streets. Poe does not dwell on their appearance, there clothing would almost certainly be black, if only to avoid clashing with the decor. The imaginative background of Goth is set out within the space of three pages.

Heroes:

Bowie, Tim Burton, myself.
