I go to shows to see good music, not to be scene.

About Me

Sup foo?
So I guess this is the part where I'm supposed to talk about myself or something? Oh, right. Allow me to introduce myself as John. Even though a lot of people call me Nate, I ususally introduce myself as John - considering that well, it's my name! If you happen to see me around, don't hesitate to make conversation because you don't know which name to call me. I answer to both! Like I've been doing for years now.
So here's some random info about me:
*I've been playing guitar for almost 7 years now, and I currently play in a band called 7th Turning Hour.
*I want to get signed and make the band life my job, but not if it means selling out. Music is a form of expression, and if you play music just to fit the "scene" and make money, then what's the point?
*I love to eat, and I never seem to ever gain any weight.
*Whenever I'm bored, I play video games (the Wii is going to take over the world!). It doesn't get much better than anything Dungeons & Dragons to be honest. I'm an uber nerd.
*Did I mention Lost on ABC is like the best show in the world? I'm a total Lost-a-holic.
*Crappy grammar bugs me sometimes, unless it's apparent that you're trying.
*I wish I could paint/draw, but I suck at it. Instead, I try to conduct my art through word usage. I want to write my first novel before I graduate from college (Z-Chronicles, anyone?).
*My bandmates are like brothers to me. My six-sided dice are my brothers, too.
What else is there to say?

Blakes!

To put it plainly, playing at Blakes was likely one of the funnest times I've ever had. I was nervous as fuck in the moments before we went on in front of that many people, but like always, it was rep...
