REALNESS ...
BIOGRAPHY
Walter Stobbe and Jah Sesco are the two founder members of the band. Already in 1998, they jointly added the music to a "Smint" (Chupa Chups) television commercial. A man and a woman in latex and leather gear are running towards each other inside a nuclear reactor – wanting to hug and kiss each other. Suddenly, they are separated by a pane of security glass. They both take a Smint-sweat, the glass pane disappears and the two kiss each other. The advertising spot is accompanied with the title "Invisible Barriers" by Human Factor (alias Walter Stobbe, Joerg Kauer featuring Jah Sesco), which perfectly reflects the mood of the pictures.
Thereafter, Walter concentrated on his engineering studies, which he completed successfully in 2002. After obtaining his degree, Walter devoted himself to studio production again. Within one year, he had planned, built and equipped his new sound studio (SAV-Media). This was followed by some productions commissioned by publishers "Hoerspiele Welt", who distribute their radio dramas and audio books on behalf of Edel Records. Various bands have produced records inside his sound studio, most notably perhaps "Nervenbeisser" (Zyx-Music). Meanwhile Sesco had attended to his own music projects. Amongst other things, he had produced the video clip "No Secrets", which was screened on MTV and VIVA, together with Cappuccino. In 2002, he became a member of the "Riddim-Wize-Crew" with regular gigs at the O-25 in Frankfurt/Main. Three times already he formed part of the line-up of the Summer Jam in Cologne. In 2006 he released his solo album "Keepin’ it Real" by Cesbeatz Productions. Jah Sescos second solo album "The Observer" will be released in spring 2008.
REAL KEEPERS
In late summer 2005, Walter and Sesco decided to join their creativity again with Walter contributing his rock music roots and Jah Sesco his roots and reggae influences. Unlike "Human Factor", which was solely a studio project, Real Keepers were set out to be a live band, too. Therefore, the band was completed with Markus Bottler at the bass guitar and Christian Schlick at the drums.
BLAZING DI FIYAH
Within this band, the multicultural lifestyle is alive and not just a topic of conversation. The Real Keepers offer international music flavour without appearing cheesy and boring to people. Fat Reggae-vibes combined with guitar riffs hard as bone. The Real Keepers aim to sweep along many people with this crossover of the special kind, particularly during their live performances. Febuary 29th 2008, the first EP "Blazing di Fiyah", produced by the band themselves at the SAV-Media studios, was released by HiRES Records and distributed by Newstyle Records.
