for writing music. Formed in 2006
Rise From The Ashes are an unsigned band based in the north east of England playing a blend of "Catchy Punk/Rock-style music a with a Metal twist.
Since forming in September 2006, Rise From The Ashes have gone from strength to strength. The past 6 months have proved they can handle the life of a recording and gigging band; recording their debut single "At Least The Devil Has Charisma" at Huddersfield’s HD1 Studio and playing at C-Y-C's Festival 07 on the 6k Vision Stage.
During this brief but fast flowing period of time they have supported upcoming acts such as "Isotopia" and "EPIC" and entered the battle of the bands contest prior to Bedale's music festival 'Rock In The Park' on the 23rd of July. These young but talented musicians battled their way through the heats to gain their place on the main outdoor stage where they went up against "Original Sin" and "Roaring at Large Fish" to claim their crown as the winners of 'Rock in The Park'.
Rise From The Ashes' ongoing success has gained them interest from Virgin Megastores at Teeside Park who have their single playing on the in-store radio loop and also merchandise will soon be available. In the same week they were approached by "Live and Unsigned" over myspace; they entered into a competition and have an audition gig this November.
This is a band that you need to have on your ipod. Gaining respect and new fans every day, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for these young men and help them on their way to the top.
