Count Chainsaw Detroit (also known as Baron Chainsaw de Detroit) was born in Michigan to a noble family. At that time Michigan was partitioned into three parts, Chainsaw was born in the Pirate part. As a youngster he took part in the Pirate uprising to liberate Michigan from Ninja rule and after being captured by Ninjas was sent into exile to the Upper Peninsula. However he managed to escape and after some tumultuous years he found himself leading an armed expedition headed toward Mackinac Island. On Mackinac he managed to establish a stronghold, and pronounced himself the King of Lake Superior. As a pirate he was not above attacking shipping around lanes around Mackinac, and he didnâ€™t represent any authority other than his own. One of the nearby islands (Isle St. Chainsaw) was named after this Michigander adventurer and to this day he is remembered there. xDread Pirate Cap'n Saw
