Grew up in a very small town in Kansas and got her degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine/Animal Science. Always active in sports; started competitive swimming at age 5 and played sports throughout school, primarily volleyball, basketball, & cheerleading. Has been competing in bodybuilding/figure since 2003. Earned her pro card in figure in the NGA in 2005 and now competes in figure in the NPC. Loves MMA fighting and would love to fight professionally one day. Complete girly-girl, but doesn't mind getting dirty, riding 4-wheelers, doing watersports...all with her nails just perfectly done! ;) Loves the rain, live music, fashion, art, traveling, and all animals. Is known to bring in stray animals and is very compassionate to those in need (the homeless especially--Shane does not allow Alicia to carry cash because she gives it to every homeless person she comes across, lol). She can be a little complicated at times. Has a serious addiction to buying shoes and will drop $300 on a hot pair of jeans if Shane lets her (P.S. not very often). She is the most loyal and protective person you could ever have in your life, but cross her or backstab her one time and she never forgets and rarely forgives. Very trusting and generous and would do anything for the people she loves and cares for without hesitation.
Grew up in a small town in Washington. Very talented athlete in wrestling and baseball all through school. Went to the Marine Corps after high school and served 4 years, moving up very quickly in the ranks to become a Sergeant. Moved back to Washington to get his degree in Kinesiology and Communication. He has been wrestling since he was 8 and bodybuilding since he was 18 years old. He is taking this year off from competing to bulk and build quality muscle, but will be back on stage next year. Is obsessed with most sports, primarily baseball and MMA fighting. Loves any military or political movie out there. When he is not getting ready for a show, he loves occasionally drinking New Castle beer and trying to beat records for eating wings and doesn't care if he makes himself sick trying to do so. He's a big 'ol "softy" when it comes to his cat and he cannot tell her "no". He is the most caring and generous person you could ever meet and would do anything for his fiance', family, & friends....but, just like Alicia--will be your worst enemy if screwed over. Doesn't put up with bullshit from others and will tell you how it is and where to stick it. And if you ever disrespected anyone he loves, he will rip your face off without a second thought (he IS a Marine afterall). The true definition of a MAN.
They met in 2005 through the one thing that their passion in life; competing. They lived all the way across the US from each other, but that was not enough to stop them from being together. Alicia moved 24 hours away to be with him while he finished up his degree and they have been together ever since! They got engaged in July of 2006 and are planning their beach wedding as we speak! They now live in Austin, TX and LOVE it there. Watching UFC, lounging at home together, having people over to watch pay-per-views, and anything that can be done outdoors; especially the lake and watersports are just a few of their hobbies. They are usually traveling together and love seeing new things and taking LOTS of pictures along the way. Always known as "THAT couple" because they can spend every minute of the day together and be nothing but happy the entire time. Shane and Alicia are both very driven people who focus on setting goals and reaching them and help push each other to be better at everything they do.
