BIOGRAPHY:RELANA As the pretty and cheerful baby called "Love", Relana started singing at a very young age. As a toddler she would listen to a home stereo or car radio, preparing for songs with a comb or brush in hand, and acting in front of a mirror. Later, there were serious rehearsals, with her mom, dad and big brother Mark, present. Inspired by the works of Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, and many other artists, Relana knew, to be a singer is her calling. She even persuaded her parents to enroll her into performance workshops, and professional acting classes. Her strong voice brought Relana recognition during talent contests, while singing the National Anthem for pro-boxing championship title fights. She lost her brother in a attempted carjacking, and was inspired to co-write and perform, for a single record and corresponding music video, entitled "Til I See You Again". The source of Relana,s determination, the late Mark A. Rayner was a National Golden Gloves HeavyWeight boxing champ. Relana has performed with Stevie Wonder, for a BET party in Las Vegas. She sang the National Anthem for pro title fights at The Palace at Auburn Hills in Michigan,and the Pala Casino in Temecula, California. Relana enjoyed guest performances in concert at The Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan, and for the City of Los Angeles, at Elysian Park.
