Pretty much all types of music. Favorite oldies song is California Dreamin although my favorite oldies group, which is very hard to choose, is The Beach Boys. Favorite 60s/70s band is Led Zeppelin. Favorite 70s/80s band is Blue Oyster Cult. Favorite 80s pop song is Come on Eileen (as heard in 411 issue 8). I really can't choose my favorite 90s group but some of my favorites are Blink 182, Weezer, Greenday, 311, Smashing Pumpkins, and Pearl Jam. I don't like too much rap but I do like Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. As far as current music goes, some of my favorites are Yellowcard, Gorillaz, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, and Ashlee Simpson. Ha! Just kidding, Ashlee Simpson sucks.
I like all types of movies, but mainly comedies. Some favs are Dumb and Dumber, Old School, Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, The Jerk, Elf, Ghostbusters, The American Pie Movies, The Wedding Crashers, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and of course one of my favorites from when I was a kid, Revenge of the Nerds (I use to get excited about the boobies). When it comes to action movies I really like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future 1, 2 and 3, Saving Private Ryan, Lord of the Rings, Kill Bills, and Batman Begins. As far as Dramas, I have my two favorites, Stand By Me, and The Goonies. Many ask how is Goonies in this category and I asnwer how can it not. I mean is Mikey going to take another hit off the inhaler??
I watch a lot of TV. My favorite shows are The Simpsons, The Family Guy, Malcom in the Middle, My Name is Earl, the Office, and Smallville. Yeah thats right, I watch Smallville. I complain a lot about MTV not playing any videos but I must admit, I do find myself watching a lot of Next.
The Jazz Age, This Boy's Life, The Next Great Bubble Boom, and of course Charlotte's Web. Maybe if some one had made a book about cockroaches I wouldn't be so scared of them.
I really can't use this space for something serious, so my favorite actor hero is Corey Feldman. Did you know that he dated Drew Barrymore when she was 14 and he was 18? Learned that on VH1. Let me know if your interested in celebrating his birth day which is June 25th. It will involve a lot of alcohol.
