strange frequency is the project name of dj avi who is Born in the phillipines but raised in bombay india . Avi was addicted to music since he was a child and has had many influences . He was a part of a small rock band who used to play just for friends and used to write lyrics and be on vocals . he was addicted to psychedelic trance as soon as he heard the first few tunes at a friends house and proceeded to learn more about the music . HE has been djing for quite a few years now and i play psy trance . ive played along side quite a few big names in bombay , pune and goa which include acts like psysex , void , exaile , winter demon , tube , psychotic micro , sirius isness , alien project , vibe tribe , psyboriginal , daksinamurti , dark nebula , arjuna , penta , kindzadza etc . He also played at the moondust festival (2006 ) in india along with the new year party in goa and many more . i play full on psychedelic trance and i love tracks with a lot of guitars . my favourite labels are Chemical Crew , Hommega , Spun , Gbm and h2o . im learning how to produce now and ill upload some tunes and my dj mix soon. i am currently djing for foot stompin records and rudraksh records which are both indian based trance record labels and have both released compilations and many more on the way . my favourite artists are winter demon , psychotic micro , exaile , void , paranormal attack , gms , perplex , onyx , pixel , wrecked machines , xerox and illumination , dynamic , oforia , infected mushroom , space cat and more i lissen to a lot of other genres too like hip hop , rock , reggae , jazz , house , breaks and the list goes on . to know more about me leave a comment on my myspace or add me on my msn cheers
