Pescado Productions

Pescado Productions was formed to promote Pescado and a few other Los Angeles based producers, in the hope of benefiting their music careers...PESCADO - (AKA Scott Elgin) At about eighteen, went to his first warehouse party and was instantly addicted to the music and the vibe. Little did he know that the friendships he was making would latter become a tight family. "I started at the speaker, I would listen to the music and look at the speaker, it was just the music and me. All of a sudden I was able to dance, and I danced my ass off!" At the end of 1997 Scott and His friend Bronson went to San Francisco to visit their friend Mikey who had recently moved up there. Mikey introduced them to his new friend Ramiro. "Ramiro and Mikey came up with this name Uniting Souls and threw a day time party called Sunshine Day Dream. At first, Sunshine DayDream was a free party in Los Angeles that was thrown in the back of Mikey's Dad's furniture shop. "Bronson and I were involved back then and it was only natural to get involved in San Francisco." Uniting Souls became four, Mikey, Ramiro, Pescado, and Bronson. For the next year Bronson and Pescado took monthly trips to San Francisco. Shortly after, Bronson and Pescado decided to start throwing Uniting Souls parties In Los Angeles. Many parties followed. Native was a party in which bands such as Five Degrees of Soul would play the outside area and class act DJs such as Boo Williams would play the inside area. Trees were brought in along with fruit, art, and stage lighting. As a Promoter Pescado enjoyed the creating and setting of the vibe for the party. He always felt that a good party was like a theater show in which every one there had a role. Along side of this Pescado started to spin records. "I started as the dancer, moved to the promoter, and now as the DJ I feel that it is all starting to come full circle." Pescado is currently working on music with fellow Uniting Souls member Michael Tello(aka Tastemakerz). "I look forward to playing and making music for the new speaker kids coming up." Excited about where his future is going musically, he would like to make one note. "I will serve no wine before its time."
