Moonray & The Bitch is a blues rock trio led by Australian singer / songwriter / guitarist Chris Kenna, with Rémi Jeannin on Hammond organ and Henri Le Boursicaud on drums.
The band has been working consistently for the last eight years in France and also toured Australia in February 2004. They have released four albums and one live EP since 2000 on the Australian indie label Winkipop Music.
Each member of the band pursues a musical carreer in and outside Moonray & The Bitch. As a solo artist, Chris supported Jeff Beck at Paris’ Olympia, Peter Green at La Cigale, Cracker at La Boule Noire, Tommy Emmanuel at New Morning and Zucherro at the Zenith, and is working regularly with Rickie Lee Jones's guitarist/harmonicist/co-composer Sal Bernardi.
Rémi leads his own Rémi Jeannin Trio playing mostly original jazz songs. He also collaborates regularly as a session man with artists such as William Chabbey, Helios Fernandez, Bruno Micheli.
Henri brings his dynamic drumming support to other regularly touring bands in jazz and rock. His band Lady Pennelope performs all over France.
