DJ Roa$T 1 st took to the ones and two's at 17 after checking close friends Sneakee and Clockwork progress at turntablism. Growing up In Cornwall wasn't always easy 2 get good vinyl so Battle weapons got him in to juggling and cutting.
After a year of DJing Roa$T became an essential part of the Hip Hop night El Segundo where he learnt how 2 DJ 2 large crowds and maintain a smooth party set. The night in question secured a monopoly on Hip Hop nights in Cornwall for a hot minute whilst pulling in The Scratch Perverts and Cutmaster Swift. These were hella succesful and other nights started cropping up.
That's when from a passion of skateboarding Roa$T met up with DJ True and soon became part of the Mad Love crew (Roa$T, True, Cheebo, Cake, Dark horse) and had a residency at the Koola bar in Newquay. These nights were renound for having a nice vibe and chilling atmosphere and attracted artists such as Ice T, Westwood, DJ Format and Abdominal, DJ Yoda, Klashnekoff, Plus one and Rodney P and Skitz to name a few. They still happen to this day at different venues so If your in Newquay check em out.
After this Roa$T bounced to Brighton and DJ'd for Essential were he was warming up for Africa Bambatta, Ugly duckling, 1st Rate and many others.
Nowady's he's cold chillin in London working on his 1st EP. As a producer he's already worked with Triple Darkness, Teef, Charlie Sloth, Nemesis and Arrogance, Triggs Vega and many more. There's an EP on it's way but dates are shady due 2 Booze intake.
