Music has always been in my life from as far back as I can remember. When I was just Three years old I used to get my mums pots & pans out of the kicthen & arrange them in the front room like a drum kit. Along with a toy piano, I'd sit and hit the drums, then bang on the keys. When I was Four my mum bought me my first proper keyboard as she said "a drum kit would be to loud".
From the age of Eight I started writing poems & stories, then started singing at Twelve in a school gospel choir, but was always told that I couldn't sing properly, so mainly stuck to writing & playing.
At Nineteen I went to Access to Music College in Bristol for 3 years, which, was an interesting & useful experience for me. After finishing college, I worked at Oppo Music bar (before it closed) mainly as bar staff, but also ended up running my own open mic nights & promoting other events.
In 2008 I started working at BCFM radio co-presenting, The Bristol (UK) Music show along with Steve Parkhouse. Around the same time I was invited to be a guest on local record label, Jelli Records. Recently, I have just finished recording my E.P (Writer's Block!) which is now avalible at gigs & will soon be online.
'I have always loved & played music, for me it is my therapy, when things go wrong, I can always rely on my piano, & when I cannot find the words to describe my feelings, I will always know that there is a chord that can describe my emotions better than words ever could'.
