i pretty much hate television, and the only real reason to watch it would have to be the simpsons. but no tivo and i'm not ever home when it's ..: i hate to miss 24...guilty pleasure....update: dvr. history channel is cool. i hate that commercials are so much louder than the actual show.
favorite author would have to be hermann hesse...my favorite two are steppenwolf and narcissus and goldmund.also into classic american authors like salinger, john gardner, fitzgerald, hemingway, etc. nine stories by salinger is great. just read crime and punishment, now i'm into karamazov.
i haven't read too much lately....into thin air was lent to me on my way out west...i'm finally reading it... and then send it back to its rightful owner..... john gardner is dope too. the only living author i've found worth reading is t.c boyle....enlighten me....
