The follow-up album to Gwen Stefani's hugely successful L.A.M.B. has been confirmed for a December release. The album, although as yet officially unnamed, has been speculated by some fans as being called 'Sweet Escape'. Gwen has worked with artists like Pharrell Williams, Akon and No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal, as well as many others for the album. "There's a lot of songs that were left over from the last album, and there's some new songs I did with Pharrell," says Gwen. "There's a lot of Pharrell on this record. I did some stuff with Tony and some stuff with Akon."
Stefani predicts No Doubt return. Have no fear, No Doubt fans: Gwen Stefani has not forgotten you. "I can't predict anything, but I don't plan on making another one of these solo dance-project records," she told MTV Europe on Thursday. "I definitely feel myself going back to No Doubt after this to do a No Doubt record." And what are her plans for the tracks that didn't make The Sweet Escape? "There's probably about 10 leftovers. You can always use them for something at some point, or I could just listen to them myself and be greedy."
