"JazzWerkstatt Wien" (Jazzworkshop Vienna) was founded in November 2004 on the initiative of Clemens Wenger together with Clemens Salesny, Wolfgang Schiftner, Daniel Riegler, Bernd Satzinger und Peter Rom. "JazzWerkstatt Wien" is a platform established by musicians designed to provide a sizable group of young artists the opportunity to develop and present ideas. In addition to various activities throughout the whole year (CD-Presentations, Festivals, Radio Shows) especially the four "JazzWorkshops" 2005 - 2008 enjoyed great media attention and attracted a numerous audience.
