I am 21 and living in Mount Maunganui with my darling fiance and 5 other wonderful flatmates. Carl and I own two cute cats called Sarzy (Sars) and Decky (Dexter). We adopted Dexter, he was abandoned at the Mount action centre so we took him in. I am studying at Bethlehem to become a Primary teacher. I am the second youngest in a family of 7 children, when I was 16 my brother died of skin cancer so that messed my life up a bit. I'm still getting sorted, I have a tattoo on my back of a butterfly with Daryls name underneath. The butterfly represents my brother as my family think of Daryl being a caterpillar when he was alive then when he was in hospital and in a coma he "went into his caccon" and now he has turned into an amazing butterfly and flown away.

My Mum and Dad, they are the most amazing people I have ever meet. They have got where they are on their own and worked themselves up to give us kids what we need. My brother who passed away April 2002, he had such a struggle and pushed through it all to try and get better I couldn't do it, I have so much respect for Daryl. Carl , you have been through so much but still your making something of yourself and hold your head high always smiling, I Love You.
