I think it could be very hard for me describing Luca Guerrieri in his artistic aspect, because we are good friends since when we had milk-teeth. Later I think that he works “his” music with passion and he cares every detail and describing Luca Guerrieri as a dj and producer, could be very easy...
He is very focused during his sets or in his studio, he hands on love and rapture even to foolish and profane people, speaking about music.
He starts his first nights as a practised dj in some local clubs, but he had grown up with his aptitude and devotion, so he finally plays for some main important clubs of Tuscany and the whole Italy.
His music style is intense, every time during his sets he seeks new sounds and melodies, not jet mass-produced, but he never leaves his coherence, just for consenting some manager or commercial customers.
For years Luca is the resident dj of Tartana, storic club where many important djs and producers are playing, he knows some of them and he decides to enterprise the musical production path. In 2006 he inaugurates with his track “Freestyler” the “Shibusa Records” label by Federico Scavo, which he constntly collaborates with.
Some artists as Joe T. Vannelli, Alex Neri, Mario Più and Roger Sanchez include some Luca Guerrieri projects and remix in their sets, among them i would like to indicate some his last traks as “tartanacid” for Metempsicosi Rec., “no name again” for Fahrenheit and “respect” for Shibusa label.
I would like to reserve a special mention to his last single “last chance” (realized on Shibusa Record), this track has been appreciated by many insiders and music fonds, and i personally choose this single as soundtrack for some Wasabi's tv spot.
The song involves peculiar sounds and musical strument, especially the violin, that suggests no-statics music selected by Luca Guerrieri.
He is a friend, a dj, a producer, who realizes his main busyness with his own passion...wish, love and ability do things better and better!

Per me potrebbe essere difficile descrivere Luca Guerrieri sotto il profilo artistico, senza lasciarmi influenzare dall’amicizia che ci lega fin da quando avevamo ancora i denti di latte. Poi mi basta pensare alla passione con cui cura ogni dettaglio, quando è alle prese con la “sua” musica, che parlare di Luca Guerrieri dj e produttore, mi diventa invece facile…
A vederlo concentrato durante i suoi set o al lavoro nel suo “studio”, appare evidente l’amore ed il trasporto, che riesce a trasmettere anche ai più profani e ignoranti, musicalmente parlando.
Inizia a fare le prime serate nei locali della zona, come tutti i dj provetti, ma la sua dedizione ed il suo talento lo fanno crescere e maturare, facendolo suonare in molte consolle di importanti locali in Toscana ed in tutta Italia.
Il suo è uno stile sensibile, i suoi set danno l’impressione di essere una continua ricerca di melodie e suoni nuovi, non ancorati a format standardizzati, senza però mai abbandonare la sua coerenza musicale solo per accondiscendere ad esigenze di gestori o utenti troppo commerciali.
Da anni è il dj resident del Tartana, discoteca storica che ha visto protagonisti in consolle, i più grandi dj e produttori musicali Italiani e mondiali, e proprio grazie alla possibilità di lavorare a stretto contatto con alcuni di essi, ha intrapreso la strada delle produzioni musicali.
Nel 2006 è il suo brano “Freestyler” ad inaugurare l’etichetta “Shibusa Records” di Federico Scavo, con il quale collabora in modo costante.
Artisti come Joe T. Vannelli, Alex Neri, Mario Più e Roger Sanchez, hanno incluso nei propri sets, i remix ed i progetti firmati Luca Guerrieri, tra cui segnalo alcuni dei suoi ultimi lavori come “tartanacid” per Metempsicosi Rec., “no name again” per Fahrenheit e “respect” per l’etichetta Shibusa.
Una menzione speciale vorrei riservarla al suo ultimo singolo dal titolo “last chance”, (pubblicato sempre su Shibusa Record), pezzo che ha riscosso consensi da molti addetti ai lavori e da ascoltatori appassionati, e che io personalmente ho scelto come colonna sonora di alcuni spot televisivi per Wasabi.
Il coinvolgimento è dato dalla particolarità dei suoni che l’introduzione di strumenti come l’inedito violino riescono a dare, a conferma della non staticità della musica proposta da Luca Guerrieri.
Un amico, un dj, un produttore, che è riuscito a fare della sua passione, la sua principale attività. E quando metti la voglia, l’amore e la competenza in ciò che fai, non puoi che farlo bene!
