One half of the now defunct Invasian (formerly South Side Posse). Alongside JC (of SONA FAMILY fame) dominated the south asian urban scene on the South Coast of England.A decade ago Rex & JC met Harry Sona (founder SONA FAMILY) at University and soon after started work on the 'Who's that Brown' project.Following the completion of his studies, Harry moved back to London, while Invasian continued to thrive.Rex & JC worked on several tracks for 4play records recording material with the likes of Jazzy B. However, due to internal struggles at 4play records, Invasian did not commit to them.As time went on, Rex changed his view on life. He became more spiritual and soon after meeting his future wife, settled down to raise a family. This left JC to continue Invasian as a solo act.A year later, Harry Sona who had kept in contact with JC, asked him to join his new crew the SONA FAMILY. The rest, as they say, is history.Despite choosing different paths in life, Rex and JC remain as close as ever. Together with their small network of close childhood friends, they keep in touch on a daily basis.
