Artwork

I have exhibited in the Code gallery in Clifton, Bristol; The Bristol Ram, Park St, Bristol, and in the Red dragon Centre in Cardiff. My work in The Bristol Ram is on permanent display and can be viewed downstairs in their cocktail bar.

I also did the artwork and photography for Screamo band Kid Cuts Deep's first EP (Love songs for the suicidal) and I'm currently finalising the artwork for Digitalis' debut album. Once he's finished recording it I can put the final track listing on the back cover ready for printing.

I'm also proud to be a member of PhotoForum.com

Film project

I’m working on a live action project with a friend with the working title ”Shinobi Knights”. It’s our version of the Super Sentai franchise that America took from Japan and turned into Power Rangers. It’s going to be darker and a hell of a lot less camp than Power Rangers though the lycra costumes will still be there (with a more gothic twist to the design).

As neither of us has any film or animation training we’re teaching ourselves whilst we write the movie itself. Hence test footage being all I’ve uploaded so far. Well, that and the fact that we’re funding the film out of our own pockets so gathering everything we need is taking a while.

There’ll still be CG elements ranging from effects to creatures and even the robots.

Reviews on my writing

“A powerful, intriguing story. I'm not into the whole vampire thing, but you really pulled me in to this. Your opening to the story really draws in the reader.” – by Mariposa

“I loved this. This is what I consider vampires to be.” – by Books of blood

“I liked beginning with a dream. Of course, when he woke up I wasn't expecting an even more fantastic story… You have a real wild imagination! You used some beautiful description throughout. Nice fast pace.” – by PaigeTurner

“Your narrative style is very compelling and incredibly vivid.” – by El Vermino

“Great hybrid mixture.” – by The Ragpicker

“Great action and adventure. I liked this a lot.” – by W.D. Wilcox

“I liked this piece… It has a nice gritty feel to it.” – by Kouter

“This was really moving! I love the twist of emotion and anger, love and betrayal, want and hope.” – by Cattytaurus

Music

Personal project I’m helping my good friend Shane with his solo album project with the working title ‘Imaginatively self entitled.’ The proposed sound is electronica/pop with an 80’s vibe. My contributions will be toward everything bar the vocals (my singing sounds something akin to a cat being run through a blender interspersed with nails being dragged down a blackboard) and music writing. It’s gonna be a while before it reaches completion as Shane’s taking singing lessons as and when he can afford them and the music writing will be up to him which is another skill he’s in the process of acquiring.

Click the buttons below to read the lyrics. ‘Feel my love’ is the only one we’ve written together and is currently incomplete. The others were written by myself before he started the project.

Other bands to check out

Below is the CD cover design that I won the 'Saturdays & Sundays' competition with. Click on the pic to take you to their MySpace page.
