About Me

Estancia formed in the late spring/early summer of 2005. In the Early winter of 2006 Estancia advanced to the semi-finals of Bodog's Million Dollar Battle Of The Bands. After a brief change of line up in the drumming department Estancia began to record their proper debut EP in December of 2006. Estancia's goal is to play music that fun for us to play, fun to listen to, but still maintains a certain technical aspect to it. We love a good melody but are also influenced by old-school punk and metal acts, along with more recent bands such as Thrice, Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music, etc. Estancia's members all have experience playing shittiest shit-holes for some of the best fans we could ever hope for. We do our best to stay in touch with our friends here on myspace. Music has been a huge driving force in our lives. We feel a kinship with people who enjoy looking for good new music with substance. We're honored that so many people have sent us friend requests and truly appreciate you guys. Our shows are where we really shine. Please come check us out. You won't be dissapointed. Send us a message, we do our best to keep in touch with everyone that stops by. Even Tila Tequila. Well, ok... not her.
