I'm a musician and training recording engineer-producer, and I'd love to make music for computer games one day ( Free Radical, you KNOW you want me ) I love all types of music: they all have something to give. I'm not shy, but I can be a bit backwards when it comes to meeting new people. I can be quiet and introspective one minute then loud and mental the next. Thats kinda the way I live my life too.
And for those that dont know me THAT well, and think I've jumped the gun a bit, I'm British, I love cups of tea and I do love Radiohead. Best. Band. Ever.
I'm also a moderator for this forum about computer game music, the Timesplitters Music Box

• I've played piano for like, 12 years now, but I don't think I've improved at all yet. I'm learning guitar and flute....but same story. Plus, my chubby fingers cant make proper chords. And when i play for too long, my fingers hurt. I suppose that’s why you practise, but I always prefer to play for fun, for pleasure, than to actually improve.
• When I was younger, I reckon I'd always keep my finger on the pulse. Now, I don't know what the kids like, or who's top of the charts :(
• I use Apple Mac computers, and love them to bits. I don't know why, but probably because my family had an Apple Mac performer long ago. And I've just used them since. But in many ways, macs are like, computers for dummies. So I like em. I’m running a MacBook Pro 15 inch on OSX 10.4.8 - its the sex :)
• I'm actually a huge geek. I like computer games and manga and cartoons.
• I went to Lapland over christmas with my friends and it was the best experience of my life. I miss it so much. And because I hate hot weather ( it makes me cranky ) I think I'm gonna live somewhere cold. Sweden or Canada :)
• Talking about Sweden, I have a Swedish friend called Charlie, and he’s the best!
• I love buying new underwear. Yeah, ok, now I've seen it written down, it does sound a bit weird, but so what. I own lots of pairs of boxers. And I like to buy them and wear them and try them on and show others. Except I cant. Because its not really 'what you do'.....*sigh*
• I had my Apple MacBook Pro laptop stolen whilst I was at University. And to this date, it’s one of the most painful experiences of my life. The thought that someone can come along and take something that's NOT THEIRS and leave me to figure out the stuff I've lost, the uni work which is affected, the memories gone, like pictures and music. Its awful and I still find myself getting sad when I think about it. Its just got personal stuff on it that doesn't mean anything to anyone except me. Theft hurts.
• I used to work at Morrisons, but I quit, and it feels great. Stacking shelves is the furthest possible job option away from my career in audio. So sorry guys, but I’m not gonna miss it.
