Drive By Satellite
Influenced by a wide-ranging and diverse variety of artists from the Beatles, Death Cab For Cutie and the Cure to the Clash and the Raconteurs, the debut album by Drive By Satellite is filled with thunderous, punchy riffs with punk-fuelled energy, but also reveals far more than one dimension with their own unique inspired sonic approach that finds an intangible balance between emotional poignancy and raw melodic power.
This Toronto-based three-some – Rae LaRonde, Trevor Cameron & Adam McLees - became the most requested band on Farmclub's Internet play list recently and have toured extensively in Canada and the U.S. including shows with Big Sugar, 54-40, The Trews and Nelly Furtado. The band’s self-titled debut was engineered by Denis Tougas (Nelly Furtado, Amanda Marshall, Rush) as well as musician/producer Jeff Martin from The Tea Party and produced by Dan Brodbeck (The Salads, Jersey, Delores O'Riordan).
