CHERRY RYDE

Cherry Ryde is an American 70's style rock band, formed in 2005 by guitarist/song-writer Ace Hanley, who has been the only constant member of the band to date. Since forming, recording, and touring lineups of the band have also included co-founder Mike Merritt, (Bassist), Matt Pullinger, Drummer (Zoology), Stevie Starr Drummer (Love Buzz) Dave Scott (Decoys), and various others. Cherry Rydes' popularity grew in 2007 with the demo album Drinkin Money, featuring "Little Bitch", which eventually became one of the band's most successful songs to date. Cited as one of the most important East Bay Rock groups, Cherry Ryde were active until 2007 and went on hiatus, but reformed in 2008. The band is currently in the pre-production stages of the recording their next demo album, which is due for release in 2008. You can hear many of the first ever recordings of Cherry Ryde with original members and special guests. Members change but you will still get the Cherry Ryde sound and lyrics of Hanley on his trusty Fender Axe.
