She is what we can call a “night cat“ ,as her activities mainly take place at night. She promotes concerts, gigs, live bands, djs, from France , Europe and China under the banner of 86/33 LINK , the structure she set up with Pierre A Blanc.
She navigates freely in the futuristic post modern playground that China is, twisting between rock and electro crowds, hip hop kids and artsy fartsy galleries. When she has time, she spins records with her mate Pauline under the name code *l’Una’Otra* she’s a good selector but a bad dj. With Pauline and Red Seas she co-curates Bloody Sunday monthly event, an alternative to Sunday gloominess featuring local and international visual artists and musicians.
She is at a central position of information flow, in English, Chinese and French, both from official and underground sources that make her ask herself a lot of questions about Beijing, china and the rest of the world …. Lately she ‘s been more concerned about the Olympics coming up next year in the Chinese capital than the French presidential elections… she should have a blog to story tell what she witnesses in this crazy country of continuous growth and compulsive amnesia, but she’s too busy like the rest of the people here. The best would be to have a blog that could write itself automatically while connected to mobile phone,that would be so lively! She could deliver regularly her mix of deep thought about society, internet censorship, sesame pancakes and swear words in Beijing slang!!!

Fortunately, Leo has found 6co a fine fine French Portuguese guy with beautiful brown eyes and a broken tooth that dropped his pen a few years ago and picked up firmly the camera to draw up the story board of life.6co: 29 years old /French-Portuguese/ straight long short hair/CapricornProud son of a single Portuguese house keeper mother, 6co knows a lot about immigration, shifting identity, global and local interactions in the world in general, the relationship between little anecdotes and big stories that rule the world. 6co started to take pictures in the demonstrations of Paris capital city, to train him to political and social spirit. 6co has always found his inspiration in the streets and in people from the street. Emerging himself in an anonymous crowd, he would always identify a special individual to assault and take a portrait of.
His crazy ability to interact with people makes him a courageous artist, and an inventive story teller. Narration is at the center of his photographic works, he develops his stories like an urban poet, in street random shootings as in fashion studio shootings, there’s always a trace of some of his tales somewhere, demons from his childhood, astro boy, doraemon, 50’s pin ups etc..Gentleman, pirate, 6co is also a kind of alternative athlete. With a bunch of old friends from Paris, gathered under the banner of their crew Spin Collectif, they have hi jacked the American Frisbee game , taken it from the beaches to put it in the streets ( the street, the street always the street!!) and developed a unique and genuine style of Frisbee. The concept is to utilize the furniture that the city provides: benches, walls, hand rails etc… to play with the disc rather than the green grass of parks and the white sand of beaches.The collaboration between Leo and 6co is just another episode of their narrative and visual bulimia applied to the Chinese context. Everyday the two snapshot the city, from the cool kids with tattoos and piercing, to the elderly in their cocktail pajama and their morning aerobics. They also work a lot at night when people feel more confident about themselves and more extravagant, ready to show the depths of their soul! That‘s where she writes, and he shoots!
