Vocal Performance History & Overview of Background
1981 - February 9, My birthdate.
1985 - First began to write songs, Mom discovered my voice.
1988 - Mom tried getting me to sing for family. No luck. She stuck a tape recorder in the bathroom while I showered and recorded the evidence on tape.
1991 - Mom signed me up for the church choir at Mother of Christ Catholic Church.
1992 - I was lead singer in the children's church choir.
1994 - The beginning of my solo artist career.
1994 - First time performing for a Latin Community Municipality event in Miami: Nuevitas, Cuba. Others that followed: Puerto Rico, Peru, and Mexico
1994 - First solo performance done at Church for a Church sale event. Sang Whitney Houston's version of "I wll Always Love You".
1994 - First time performing for the City of Miami at Bayfront Park
1994 - First time performing for the City of Miami at Orange Bowl
1996 - Won the audition to perform the National Anthem for the Miami Heat Basketball game. First time performing for the Miami Heat Basketball games singing the National Anthem. Did so for 5 separate games.
1996 - First time performing for the Latin Builder's Association - sang the National Anthem and the cuban anthem. And did so for all of their events for the next 5 years.
1996 - Became a Cavalier Singer for Coral Gables Sr. High
1997 - Met Keyboard player and producer Gary Corbet (Who once was the touring keyboard player for Kiss) and world reknown engineer Bob Vila. Collaborated with them for the next 2 years on songwriting and gained a new level of artist development with their help.
1998 - Performed as a Cavalier Singer at many events and competitions, mostly doing solo performances on the side as well.
2000 - Began Vocal Performance education at FIU.
2001 - Met up with Joe Novo - Recording Producer and part owner of Big Dogg Studios. Worked on music and lyrics for 13 different songs, worked on training other artists, worked on presentation of different songs to different top artists such as Ricki Martin, Kylie Minogue, and Britney Spears.
2002 - Joined Opera Workshop at FIU.
2006 - Started to look for a band and found one within two weeks of searching. That was when I joined Hazel Witch in November 2006.
2007 - Recorded Demo for Hazel Witch at Talent Farm Studio
2007 - Performed Hazel Witch music at local Miami/Hialeah/Pembroke Pines/Hollywood rock venues.
2007 - Wrote well over 12 songs for Hazel Witch with Nelson Santamaria.
2008 - Start of new business venture giving Vocal Coaching Classes
2008 - Development of home studio
