I like to meditate and do yoga. I love, love listening to live music, ideally outside by a campfire. I love going to my Nia class. I also enjoy lifting weights at my club. I love doing a sweat in our friends sauna, I paint when I feel inspired, and etc.... I sometimes live in my own little bubble."Every Minute, Lead a Yogic Life" "The real Yoga is not just standing on the head or shoulders, or breathing like a bellows. These things are only aids, they are not the be all and end all. Every action must be a Yogic action, every minute must be a Yogic minute to you. Then you will really enjoy the blessings of Yoga and you can call yourself a Yogi. Always see things in this light: Will this give me tranquility, balance, peace of mind? All through the day and night, lead a Yogic life. Eat in a Yogic way, sleep in a Yogic way, speak in a Yogic way. Don't talk too much or eat too much or sleep too much. Instead, let us practice Yoga every minute in our daily life.""God bless you. Om Shanthi, Shanthi, Shanthi."
The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Beck, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Wildwood, Etc..... I mostly listen to bands from Kerrville Folk Festival, Still on the Hill, Jabbering Trout, The Austin Family Jewels, Darlene, Chris Chandler, Peter Wilde and etc.....
Harold and Maude, Imagine with John and Yoko, THE SADDEST SONG EVER, Being John Malkovich, Zero Effect, The Red Balloon and etc..... In college I loved Erasorhead and Clockwork Orange, though now I tend to like happier images.
I do not watch television. I love Laura Freeman's song "turn off the tv and play with your brother, turn off the tv and dance with your mother...." If I was going to watch television over the holidays at my parents I would watch Simsons, Sienfield, Friends, King of the Hill or Leave it to Beaver.
