My ADDY award winner. Stupid "silver" ADDY... ;)I love art: drawing, painting, all media, really. My main artistic interest is charcoal/ graphite portraiture. I have many examples of my work here somewhere.... I have been playing bass guitar since 1995 and I love that. I love to dance to my favorite music (listed below, I'm sure). I love the beach and I will go every other week until September ends. I am addicted to astrology; I am a Taurus born in the Chinese Year of te Snake (bad ass!)I do so many things that I forget all the rest, but these are the top favorite things I enjoy. Oh yeah, I LOVE to cook; mostly to grill. I love grilling shrimp, chicken, steak, yum yum. Yeah, no vegetarian crap here! I love veggies too, but I am weak! I need meat! LOL Annndddd I speak Spanish muy buena para una gringa! Is that a bad word? I spent so much time in Mexico nothing is a bad word for me!

VNV Nation, Blutengel, Assemblage 23, Covenant, Stromkern, Front Line Assembly, Velvet Acid Christ, Informatik, The Birthday Massacre, and other goth/industrial/synthpop/EBM artists as well as classics like Skinny Puppy, Ministry, and NIN. My most recent musical addiction is INTERPOL! They put on an AMAZING live show (for a band that does not rely on a computer to make their music, ha ha- not that there's anything wrong with that). As of May 2008 I must announce my love for Tears Run Rings. I've been listening to them for a month and still have no idea what they are saying:)But I love them.
My favorite movie is Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas. Others in my top 5 are: Orgazmo, The Big Lebowski, Mystery Science Theater 3000 the movie, and Sid & Nancy. Other good ones are The Crow, Dracula, The Usual Suspects, Interview With the Vampire, The Lost Boys, Ed Wood, anything Tim Burton or Mel Brooks does is usually good....
My soap is The Young & the Restless. Sorry, my grandma got me hooked on it like, 20 years ago!
I am enamored of TS Eliot's "The Hollow Men." "Rats coat, Crowskin, Crossed staves... Behaving as the wind behaves...No Nearer." Other classics I love are Machiavelli's The Qualities of the Prince (esp On Whether it is Better to be Loved or Feared), Walden (true hippie- me, I mean), Civil Disobedience (rebel!), Emily Dickinson, EE Cummings, Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass...Anything by Shakespeare (tongue-in-cheek always works for me)AND... Anything on astrology, esp. Born on a Rotten Day by Hazel Dixon-Cooper. Funny lady.
