About Me

I'm a cool Mom of 4 boys ages 6 years - 8 months. I've been married for 10 years and stay at home with my boys. I DO NOT drive a minivan (not that it is a bad thing for those who do), and I don't sit at home watching soap operas and eating Bon-Bons all day. I admit before I became a Mom and was working full time outside of the home, I thought being a homemaker was easy like that. WRONG! It is hard work and it is never ending. But I love my boys and I love my Husband and the life we have created. I have a great extended family and the best friends ever! I love boating at the river, casinos, amusement parks and shopping. So whether I'm hanging out with my kids and hubby, or my friends, It's all about having fun for me. Life is too short not to enjoy every minute of it. i am a gastric bypass survivor, 3 years post-op. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself! I still love food and will always be a "big girl" at heart, I just get to shop at better stores now!

My Interests

Well home and family are my number one interests. But I also love Casino's, concerts, and boating at the river. I like to play all kinds of games, shopping, and karaoke.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet other stay at home moms, or just some cool people who have more to talk about than SpongeBob. It would be cool to meet and talk to Sylvia Brown, she always amazes me. If I could go back in time i would so love to meet Lucille Ball, whose comedic genius will forever be unparalleled!

Music:

I like almost everything. My radio station presets span from 95.1, 98.7, 95.5, 93.5 & Jack FM. Let's not forget the occassional Love songs on the kost. I just love music. My favorite all time group is The Eagles. Thier harmonies are second to none! I love any artist who has the type of voice that when you turn on the radio and hear them sing there is no doubt in your mind who it is. don Henley has one of those voices, also Michael MacDonald, Luther Vandross, and Karen Carpenter. Did I mention I love music???? I love it... I love it... I love it!

Books:

Courderoy is my all time favorite children's book. I remember it from elementary school. As a pre-teen I loved Judy Blume.. I have never met a woman my age who did not read "Are you there God, it's me Margaret", and "Forever". In HIgh school I loved reading V.C Andrews books. The Flowers in the Attic series, the Dawn series and the Heaven series are my favorites. Now if I had the time, I would read Danielle Steele, Sidney Sheldon, Mary Higgins Clark and Jackie Collins. I also like reading auto-biographical books and ANYTHING by Sylvia Brown.
