After releasing well received solo albums in 2005, Ricky Pharoe and Tru I.D. combined their stage shows and set out up and down the west cost. Sharing the stage with heavyweights such as Black Eyed Peas, Mos Def, Method Man, and countless other headliners, Pharoe and I.D. studied every aspect of live entertainment. From there, they rocked every venue and audience possible, from private events and sweaty clubs, to festivals in front of thousands.
Hard work continued to pay off with the full length release “The Key With No Lock.” Pharoe and I.D.’s first joint effort delivers harmony and swagger over hard hitting beats, insightful lyrics and visual concepts. The true sign of quality music is how quickly it spreads through word of mouth and fan support has always been the key to success for both MCs. Relying on substance and talent, Ricky Pharoe and Tru I.D. continue to spread to anyone with an ear for good music. They've recently been featured on allhiphop.com and numerous radio stations, throughout the country.
