PROPHET: A person gifted with profound moral insight and exceptional powers of expression.Being the son of an officer in the US Armed Forces gave dj Prophet the unique experience of absorbing musical influences in different parts of the country every 4 to 6 years. From Puerto Rico, and Miami's Latin & House to New York's Hip Hop & Reggae, to Seattle's Rock & Roll , finally bringing it all together in San Diego, Ca.It was at the age of 19 when dj Prophet decided to put his passion for music on display from behind two turntables. In the past 10 years dj Prophet has honed his skills from countless hours of bedroom practice sessions to house parties,and backyard boogies to local bars to San Diego and Hollywood's club scene to traveling the world. It was in 2002 that he moved to Hollywood, Ca to pursue his career in the entertainment capital of the world. In the last 6 years Prophet has not only established his name in the club scene but also his face in numerous print campaigns and national commercials. In 2005 Kris Figueroa aka dj Prophet, hosted an entertainment news show called "Rough Cut LA" on LTN.
