About Me

What can I say about myself that isnt already reflected by the things that interest me? If you asked what my nationality or heritage would be, I'd tell you I was born in Rose Bay Nova Scotia and I am a Native American Blackfoot. But I am also French Canadian and German Canadan. So in truth I am the sum of my many parts. Which just about defines everything else about me... 'all my many parts'. -- I've done alot of diverse things, traveled across the Us and Canada. And always looking for something new to try out.--I'm a bit on the demented side, okay so A-LOT. but I'm not crazy... or am I? Well maybe a little how would one tell? I'll get back with you on that. What ever the case may be I'm as easy going as they come, but obviously not down to earth. Unless I'm hiking across it or tramping barefoot in the mud or beach white sands. I'm a typical radical Aquarian so my ideas are always off gallivanting across the galaxy with the windows down, the AC on and the radio full blast, I never could make up my mind what I wanted to be when i grew up. I loved music and writing so I did both. I also loved animals especially marine anmals so i went to college for that. In fat I've done a little bit of everything including spending 12 yrs building concert stages. In in recent years started putting that knowledge into films. GOTHIC SOUL Yeah do I walk through the valley of death; for those I choose to walk past speak to me with treacherous voices. They speak to me such words of trickery. To swoon that the world is grand and should I embrace their conformity I too shall live in goodness and riches. But through what sight I do not know, nor can I explain how I see that with human tears and blood the soles of their shoes are stained. Low do I see them for what they are. For they are the vampires of the psyche. They drain from you if you let, your identity, your expressions. And once they have those they too shall have your soul. And so I retreat into the recess of shadow. Let the darkness covet me as I continue my journey clothed in robes of black. But fearith not, my heart not wither in this darkness. For it knows this as friend and its protection brings my survival and abundance. No my eternal flame has not forsaken. It burns like a candle in the night, cloaked from those who strive to snuff it out. In my strength to keep my soul from them, they have judged me. For those who may soon come behind me, they will implore you I am the path of doom. But still I willith not sell myself to them. Mine is like a moth with eyes painted on wings. They can see only that now, for shallow minds have no memory and they withdrawal. They no longer try to prey upon me. But do not despair for mine is not the path of doom. For I am not lost to all. Those who can see in the darkness who have sought refuge there as I have can find me. Whoa shall I walk through the valley of death. I shall not fear for I have been given the ability to hide among them. But do not convey that I am of them. I shall pass through. Princess S. Obriot Novembre 2003Not now but before... A spot of land that is not now but before-- a place where my people would go. I stand here now glancing over there-- a dance the spirits want to show. a place of lost living and of lost told. Ah...Hy...Ya...ta...Ha... -- The spirits from there call to me-- their voices echo off the canyon walls. a hawk soaring above calls out to be sure I am listening, but it is more than the wailing songs of long ago that I hear. The wind blows through the grass reeds of the rolling plains-- and I hear a flute hauntingly chase after, but still I hear more. deep inside my chest I hear my heart beat out the time of the drum-- I now understand why I see the spirits dancing in a land not now but before. For the lost living and lost told dwell within the regions of my own soul-- So as I live, They too can speak on. And as I stand still glancing over there-- I hold my head up, Ah...Hy...Ya...ta...Ha... So that someone will hear me before I too am not now but before. Princess Stephan Obriot 12: 21: 1997
Your Hidden Talent
You have the natural talent of rocking the boat, thwarting the system.
And while this may not seem big, it can be.
It's people like you who serve as the catalysts to major cultural changes.
You're just a bit behind the scenes, so no one really notices. What's Your Hidden Talent?

My Interests

For starters i like the perks that come with my jobs. I mean check out the stages in the above slideshow! I built each and everyoneof those stages! And then I get to see the show for free stage side. It doesnt get much better then this, well maybe if I had little time left over to get layed every once in a while. Below is one of the 210ft long ships i dive under to keep it clean and maintained.
Outside of work I guess i would have to say that one of the main interests i have always had (since a small kid) was cultural antiquity. Ancient societies, their cutures, their religions, how one ties to another, missing civilizations and the origins of the human race. Especially Atlantis, its a never ending search for answers as the synopsis alters with each bit of information you might unearth. There is so much to be discovered... traditions, mythology, religion, ceremonies sociatic structures and the genetic path of how some relocated becoming something new while others disappeared.

This here's my monster, another major interest in my life... haha
*~*~*~*Other interests include Body piercing (but i dont do it professionally anymore - no time) Obviously one of my biggest interests is in the music industry, but also LOVE film making - wish i could do it more often; photography (a passive hobby), WRITING particularly screenwriting (check out one of my scripts in my blogs) and every so often poetry. Further interests include my Native American traditions and protecting what little is left of our wildlife environment. No one said you had to be a tree hugger, but would you just stop cutting them all down.

I'd like to meet:

Never mind who i want to meet. I've met lots of folks, famous and not so famous, some cool some assholes. I would like to one day meet my soul mate and NO you're not them so dont fucking ask.
more friends is always cool, but it would be really cool to meet someone who was just as strange, demented and eglictic as myself, someone that when on those odd times i decide to dress out they wouldnt be embarrassed to be seen with me or better yet dress out in their own way as well, a guy who will waltz me outside in the middle of a crowded street (laughing optional), that (another guy one) should i decide to fantasize he was more like an incubus come to seduce me he wouldnt get freaked out or go brain dead but rather got off on it himself. okay i think thats about as intimately personal as i am going to get on this. and i know i am going to regret it later for going this far.

Movies:

Now I can talk films til I'm blue in the face or you just walk away cause your sick of listening to my shit, but I really enjoy movies. Preferably in the comfort of my own home. sofa, big screen tv and a bowl of ice cream. I rarely watch Tv, unless its something cool on the history channel or Farscape (which is no longer aired). Top ten in no special order would be: Shawshank Redemption, Fiddler on the Roof, Jaws, the Green Mile, Road to Perdition, K-Pax, Any of the Godzilla movies (new or old), Lord of the Ring series, The Bird Cage, Cold Mountain, Underworld, meet Joe Black... okay so that was 12 but some things will never get booted off the list.
