Hard question to sum up in one paragraph. Guess I'll have to write more BLOGS to let you guys have a better idea. What I am is a concert touring lighting crew chief. Most people know us as roadies. This term in this day and age is a little dated, as are the stories of what "used" to happen. Todays world touring is big business and what I'm apart of. Gone are the weeks of non-stop parting and groupies ( which by the way, real groupies went extinct in the early ninties and drug testing happens here too). It's all work these days but I love my job, and I'm never home. I'm on the road 8-10 months a year in charge of several trucks of lights and a tech crew. The job could be compared to hanging a junkyard in the air and hearding cats. When I am home I like to hang out. Do so much when traveling I like not having a schedule. Try to see family and friends when I can. Wish I had time for hobbies I used to do, maybe down the road. Do like to go drinking but I hate clubs. The idea to get dressed up to try to impress others that don't care in the first place is not high on my fun list. Just like having a few with friends and be social. Drink Bacardi and coke when I am. Don't like beer or other sour tasting drinks, was never my thing. Do take breaks from it too, sometimes I get too much into it. Do get on my soapbox from time to time, that's normally the most extreme conversation you will get out of me. Ranges from people who complain about not having anything but don't do anything about it, to the fact that after working for my "heros" and finding out how fake they are. Like finding out that Santa Claus isn't real when a kid. That's a big one. Like I said earlier, need to write blogs for these and more opinions, have to argue the point clearly. Also gives people a little more insight on me and why I think the things I do.
