FEBRUARY 2008 BLACK ELECTRICITY'S BAND MEMBERS
DYLAN HIGHSMITH - VOCALS & BASS
IAN HIGHSMITH - GUITAR
ROB COURNOYER - DRUMS
Begining in 2003 was whe Ian began playing Guitar at the age of 8, his brother Dylan began playing Bass the following year at the age of 7. Both right out of 2nd grade. At that time a band was determined to be created and by 2005 BLACK ELECTRICITY was opening the show for The Battle of the Bands at the Henderson Pavillion.
The band has not performed since early October 2007 due to having lost the 2nd drummer and playing over 30 shows during the summer. Ready to get back into performing and creating all new originals their longest break to date has come to an end.
Fortunate enough to find the most skilled drummer they have had Rob Coumeyer accepted the position of not only their Jam Instructor but also to drum with the boys for the upcoming shows.

Zach McKenzie
Ian & Dylan met Zach when they first started playing music. He was always very cool to the both of them. The difference in the boys' ages and musical experience didn't make a difference to Zach, he still included them with the rest. Ian and Dylan were very lucky to have Zach's positive encouragement when they were first starting to play guitar and bass at such young ages. Zach you will always be remembered!
