This is primarily a page for my music, but because it and all of life is tangled up together, it will naturally be the face of a lot of different stuff. For example, you need to know that I dig some coffee...and chocolate. Grab a cup of coffee or a Reese's Cup with me and we'll be bound by some serious common ground. My roots have been in the Tri-cities area from the beginning and so I've grown into a life-longer here so far. I'm a singer/songwriter and love the process of creating, playing wherever ears invite, and simply entering into conversation with folks. I'm not sure how you go about this gig of categorizing and labeling songs, but I think mine are simply about faith and life, messed up clumsiness and grace. I write from the eyes of a Christian and how the world looks through that lense and how life is lived because of it. So that obviously influences what takes shape in the lyrics and sound waves, but it doesn't necessarily mean that everything I write always translates into something you'd slide into a hymn book...I try to be honest and allow songs to take on a life as they are at that moment...the freedom to let the authenticity of living and breathing surface without pretense. I currently have one CD out, Carried Along, that I recorded in 2005. It's a collection of 12 songs that were written over several years and it was important to me to gather them in on a disc from across that large time window. However, I'm really stoked about starting my second project soon that will be much more specific in sound and style and will be songs that have surfaced over the last year or so.
