I am a basement DJ so I like all sorts of music. I can appreciate many flavors. I was musically born in grunge. I have always loved new wave. I love post wave too. I like lots of punk stuff. I am a major fan of industrial. I like some metal. Classic rock is always a good too. The entire genre of electronic music blows my mind most of the time.
Super short list of awesome bands:
New Order
Depeche Mode
Orchestral Manoeuvers In The Dark
The Cure
The Smiths
The Pixies
A real movie puts you in a state of mind where you feel like you are with the story. You don't feel like you are watching, but experiencing the movie. I like movies that use that to help you see what they are all about.
I am a huge fan of old martial arts movies. I also like Sci-Fi movies and fantasy movies because of the reality escape feeling. I think comedy is done best by Monty Python, but there are lots of funny movies. Oh and a good/bad horror movie is always a good way to get me to sit still for a while.
All I ever want to watch is cartoons/anime. Trigun and Cowboy Bebop are my two favorite series. I've also been digging what I have seen of Fullmetal Alchemist. FLCL is great for an insane day.
I like old television series. Particularly ones in the Sci-Fi genre. The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Doctor Who, and even the original Star Trek are all awesome. MASH is a great show. You get the idea.
Sports and I rarely get along. I like those lumberjack competitions on ESPN. I do like soccer but rarely get to see any of it. I use to be able to listen to some internet stations for it, but they all want you to pay now. I also watch entertainment wrestling, if you call it a sport.
Other honorable mentions would include Iron Chef, Stargate SG-1, and MacGyver.
The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, Everything from J.R.R. Tolkien, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, Sherlock Holmes Stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Poems by Edgar Allen Poe, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, 1984 by George Orwell, Neuromancer by William Gibson
I want to be as truely human as possible. I doubt some people are human.
