Hi every one and welcome to MY my space page. I’m not going to go on for too long but I feel u people out there have a right to no a little something about me.
Music has always been a big part of my life but the 1st time I took it serious,was when I was in a group called “FOOT PRINTSâ€. The group consisted of 4 members Isis, Simeon, Leroy and Udemma. We started out as a dance group which morphed into rappers and singers as time went on. (Yes people I used to rap, not any more I’ll leave that to the people who no what they’re doing LoL) It was so much fun to get out there and just perform in front of so many people. It was amazing, and at such a young age I knew what it meant to give 100%.As the time went on we visited many different studios and recorded songs we had been working on. My mum took me to a studio once and this man said “sing†I was so scared but I did it any way. I gave it my all. This dude turned around and told my mum there was nothing he could do for me cos I didn’t have anything. I'm not going to lie that broke me down. I was only 8 years old but it made me push my self to do better. I’m not saying I’m the best singer in town but I no I’ve got something special about me. So I carried on driving my mum crazy singing all up and down the house. During this time “FOOTPRINTS†had been making a name for ourselves, appearing on “but can you do it on TV?†the “291 Club†(and we didn’t get booed) the Barrymoore Show and we also opened up for “Naughty by Nature†when they played the UK. Just as we were all getting a taste for the biznizz the group broke down and every one went their separate ways. The break up was hard but as we were family we still got to see each other. Two members gave up all together but not me. At the age of 13 I started to write hooks then before i knew it, a verse, and then a bridge. I believed I was a good writer and as I got a bit older I did a few talent shows in Birmingham to test out my skills. I got a good response. Alot of people complemented my voice and my writing ability and from that support i gained more confidence to become the singer /song writer I am today. I’m working on my 1st album which is going really well. I’m Also part of an up and coming group “THE HEARDâ€. Which has been keeping me busy ,doing shows up and down the country, promoting the album “The Heard†are u listening!!!!!. Growing up around 7 brothers, hip hop had to be one of my 1st loves so when I was asked to be part of the heard I felt privileged. The group came together through various solo artists in Birmingham working on a compilation album. Before we knew it the HEARD was formed. I love working with the guys but at the moment I’m taking some time out to do me and work on my album. It’s been long over due so look out I promise it’ll be a good look.
