About Me

Hi my name is Andrew, I play guitar, sing, programme and write songs for a musical project called Black Market Serotonin. Have a listen, I think its good.
I've finished at The University of Manchester studying Philosophy with Politics, I got a 2:1 which i'm very pleased with.
My favourite past times include listening/playing/writing/recording music, and if i get a free minute I like to watch dvd's of TV shows like Blackadder and Scrubs, that sort of thing.
Aside from these things, I'm conventionally fairly uninteresting, but like everyone else on MySpace I have narcissistic tendencies that have lured me to the creation of this self glorifying page.
I also like to write sentences with fancy words that put forth the pretentious illusion that I am considerably more clever than i let on.

My Interests

I tend to spend most of my time being involved with music of some description. I'm rarely without some sort of melody in my head whether it be of a favourite song of mine or one that i am working on myself. My interests are mainly then to do with music but i fond many other things interesting, I won't bore you with them now, you have to get to know me don't you!

I'd like to meet:

People of moral standpoints, respected philosophers, fans of Black Market Serotonin, and just friendly types.

Music:

A bit of everything but some of my favourite recording artists are included in the following: Black Market Serotonin & The Airstrip One (naturally), Muse, Silverchair, Smashing Pumpkins, Mogwai, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Amplifier, Tool, Sigur Ros, Helmet, Pelican, Isis, Deftones, Nine Inch Nails,The Dissociatives, Grand Volume, King Crimson, Pearl Jam, Yes, Nick Drake, Biffy Clyro, Tori Amos, The Vines, Bob Dylan, The Mars Volta etc can't really be bothered to list many more. Oh, Miles Davies, Herbie Hancock, Regina Spektor, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Samuel Barber, Mudhoney, Neil Young, Nirvana, Jeff Buckley and many more. Maybe i'll fill those in later, I'm open to most types except emo, because, well, whats the point?

Movies:

American Beauty, Garden State, Requiem For A Dream, Star Wars, The Matrix, DIE HARD!, The Lord of the Rings, Back To The Future, Children Of Men, The Prestige, Pulp Fiction, The Machinist, Anchorman, Stranger than fiction, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Donnie Darko, Old School, Starsky and Hutch, Magnolia, Collateral, again many more will follow when I can remember what i like.

Television:

Don't watch much these days, but I try and view the following: Blackadder, Scrubs, Lost, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, Friends, Johnathan Ross, Later With Jools Holland, Brass eye, Alan Partridge, The Day Today, THE MIGHTY BOOSH! Will Ferrell & Val Kilmer - top gun the later years

Add to My Profile | More Videos
