ABOUT THE BAND: Shiftkit was formed in 2000 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.Back in the summer of 2000, this band released their first cd Sonic Riot and three years later they won the "Vancouver Seeds Competition"'. Then their song "Waiting" was featured on numerous soundtracks. The Madness, Shiftkit's 2nd cd, came out summer 2003 and sold 2000 copies in the Vancouver Lower Mainland Area. In 2005, Shiftkit worked with mega producer/engineer Mike Fraser and subsequently their song "Stronger" was featured on the movie soundtrack Ready Fire Aim. It was in spring 2006 that Shiftkit's lead singer beat out thousands of potential contestants and became a finalist for the hit television show Rockstar Supernova. In that same year, with the help from producer, Danny Craig, and engineer, Scott Turnan, Shiftkit worked on and released Round 3; the EP. Upon release, their single "Not Saving You", received heavy airplay on dozens of radio stations across B.C. and the U.S.A. Since this time, this local band has had much success with touring and headlining big shows!
