VJ Mario//Urban Forces

Since finding out that I have extremely big interest in electronic music industry, at the age of 16, me and my two friends founded the Urban Forces DJ team. The main reason for this to happen is enthusiasm that we shared and great wish to make some influence in half-dead music scene on mountain called Zlatibor where we lived at the time. Zlatibor is, by the way, the biggest tourist center in Serbia and a large ski-resort. At first our organisation was not called Urban Forces, the first name was Happy People. Under that name we have started to organise a series of parties with intention to awake interest in electronic music at teenage population. Suprisingly, the parties went well and started to get more popular. We expanded our region on influence to surrounding cities like Uzice, Cacak, Nova Varos and Kragujevac. At that time we had three DJs, big marketing network and well visited internet site. Everything voes going fairly well until our name has reached Belgrade. Apparently there voes an innactive organisation with the same name, founded years before us and registered in the City hall. That means that they can sew us for using "their" name. After a meeting we have decided to change our name and start over. 12.8.2005. we have founded new organisation, Urban Forces. The date was celebrated with a big party in Zlatibor..s biggest night club called "2", and our special guest, Serbia..s best DJ Marko Nastic has flamed the atmosphere for about 800 guests. After that series of events like Incident, Urban Pleasures and Experience sessions has boosted organisation to the leading place in Western-Serbia..s club scene. Now we have moved to Belgrade in order to make an instant impact on the city..s great club scene. At the beggining of the year parties at clubs like Exile and Mamolo went really well and have attracted a lot of public attention. During this summer, we already organised a great number of parties on one of the Belgrade..s most popular raft-clubs, Exile, where we stated our residency for the last few months. The most important events was Urban Forces B-Day party and especially DJ Shane/Germany. During the winter, we were located on Winter Exile, arranging parties and making big plans for the summer. In last couple of months most notable parties were in the Andergraund and Energija clubs, where we made strong statement that tis year is going to be one of the best ever!!!
