_I_N_T_E_R_V_I_E_W______November_2006____~~~ HOW DID YOUR CLOTHING LINE BEGIN?~~~ My designing began in 2000 here in orange county. Doing freelance and teaming up with photographers, i began my collection of one of a kind pieces. The name originated from my last name, Erbstoesser. This caught on by my friends calling me Kelly Erbs, Erbie, etc... hence the name MISS ERBS. ~~~WHERE DOES THE INSPIRATION COME FROM?~~~ From random objects and nature that i can translate onto the human form. ~~~WHAT DIRECTION DO YOU HOPE TO GO IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY?~~~ I love costumes and unusual materials... they present a challenge to create something amazing. My new collection that releases in december will reflect these aspects. Leaning toward costume design for movies and television. ~~~HAVE YOU DONE ANY RUNWAY SHOWS?~~~ yes... i am having a fashion show in Los Angeles December 16 to release my new collection. It will be my third fashion show in 6 months. ~~~WHAT VIBE DO U WANT THE PUBLIC TO FEEL?~~~ My work is visually appealing and takes you to a fantisy state of mind. It contours the curves of a womens body and disproves the sterotype that the "stick figured" models wear clothing best on the runway.
