About Me

Another thing I am interested in is your experience of working with other bandmates on your own material and how you feel about the arrangements versus playing yourself and being entirely in control of the sound, so to speak -- do you know what I am getting at?

Thereâ€™s a certain comfort in knowing thereâ€™s a rhythm section behind me, yet a very different sense of freedom about performing alone. I can do more artistically and dynamically for the music with a group behind me. However, at the same time thereâ€™s a certain intimacy and revealing approach about solo efforts. When given all the options, it really comes down to whatâ€™s best for the song.
