Band Members: Tenor- Angela Borba has been singing since she was a child and has always loved music. She is currently working on her Masters Degree is Choral Music and is soon going to begin teaching music again. As if working on her masters didn’t keep her busy enough she is also involved in some fun musical groups including being a director of the Danville Girls Chorus. Go Angela!Lead- Karen Fish has been singing Barbershop style for over 20 years. She has been with her current chorus (Diablo Vista) almost the whole time and is currently one of their assistant directors and the Lead section leader. She has been to the International stage with two different quartets... first with Blue Razz and then again with Neon Lights. She also sang in a Region 12 quartet Tapestry for over 12 years and they are still some of her best friends!Baritone- Kristi Bispo also happens to be Karen’s daughter. She is has barbershop brat since the first time her mom dragged her and her siblings to quartet rehearsal. She’s only technically been a Sweet Adeline since 2003 but has been involved in Young Women in Harmony functions since middle school. While she lived in the bay area Kristi sang in Diablo Vista Chorus for a couple years, then joined Voiced Unlimited when she moved to the Fresno area. Kristi still sings with Voices Unlimited and will be competing with them at International in Hawaii in November 2008.Bass- Shelley Culp has also been a Barbershopper since the 80’s! She’s sung in multiple quartet’s including Tapestry with Karen. She made her International Debut at International in Las Vegas with Ignite and had a great time. Currently a member of Diablo Vista Chorus in which she has been very active, holding such positions as President/Team Coordinator, and Visual Team member and she served multiple terms as the Region 12 Membership/Marketing Coordinator.
Influences: Our wonderful Coaches Beth Smith, Lynne Smith, Carol Kirkpatrick and Renee Porzel are amazing to work with. And our choruses, Diablo Vista and Voices Unlimited, they are so wonderful and so supportive we love you ladies!
