About Me

Howdy! How are ya? Really? Cool! Well enough about you, let's talk about me! I'm Spike. I play bass. I'm in The Vordermans.
I love getting tattoo's. I've drawn most of my own designs. They're not great but they mean something to me...mostly. There's some pictures and explanations to some of them in my blogs.
In what little spare time I have I try to spend as much of it with my mates and my beautiful girlfriend. Just hanging out at houses or in the pub. I'm always happy when I'm around these idiots...
..
I'd love to say "I live for music", but I don't. It doesn't influence the way I live my life at all.
I try to take up every invitation I can (or I can afford), after all, everytime I say "no" I'm potentially missing the best time of my life.
I can't think of much else to say at the minute. I'm a pretty friendly, chilled out guy. I get on with almost everybody, so if you wanna just say hi, don't hesistate to drop me a message. I try to reply to them as soon as I can.
Well....bye, see ya, chow, tata for now.

My Interests

Well, I play bass guitar. I like to chill out when I can, watch films, play games, rock out. Obviously, like most people my age, my social life revolves around the pub and going to local gigs.

I'd like to meet:

When I was a kid I always wanted to meet celebrities...but I've met a few as I was growing up and they're not magical or anything. So I'm just happy with meeting anybody who has something interesting to say.

Music:

I've got a bit of a varied taste when it comes to music. I reckon my main genre I like to listen to is rock/nu-metal, but I listen to all sorts of other things. I like early 90's dance music, classic rock, blues, jazz, even the odd bit of classical, wierd I know.

Movies:

I love to watch the animated cartoons that are being pounded out all the time; Cars, Flushed Away, Wallace & Gromit, Ice Age etc.
I do like all other kinds though, action, comedies, epics, sci-fi, all of them. I'm not big on rom-coms or horrors, but I'll happily sit through them.

Television:

I don't watch TV that much. There's not really that much on these days that I want to watch. I like the older comedies though; Not The 9 O'Clock News, Porridge, Dad's Army, all that kind of stuff.

Books:

My all time favorite book is Hobson & Co: Paranormal Investigators by Brian Hughes. It's a northern set working class comedy, sci-fi, horror. It's bloody brilliant!

My other favorite author is Terry Pratchett. The Discworld series is absolutely brilliant.

At the minute, I'm ploughing my way through a book called Baudolino by Umberto Eco. So far it's a good read.

Heroes:

Well, I'm too busy leading my own life that I've never really stopped and thought "wow, I want to be like them". I suppose the only people who I look up to are my closest friends. Some of them have been through so much in their lives and have come out the best set of muppets I know. Love y'all!

Card Games

These cards look like the ones I used to eat in my room at solitare confinement. I was confined to a room and all I could play was solitare. Solitare Confinement. I used to play blackja...

When I'm Evil Overlord

I'm bored, so here's 50 Thing's I'd Do When I'm Evil Overlord 1. My Legions of Terror will have helmets with clear plexi-glass visors, not face concealing ones. 2. My ventilation ducts will be too sma...

Chain Letters

Hello, my name is Spike and I suffer from the guilt of not forwarding 50 billion f***ing chain letters sent to me by people who actually believe that if you send them on, a poor 6-year-old girl in Ark...

Brain Confusion

Isn't it strange how your brain sometimes plays tricks on you? When you apply for a job for instance. You get the application form, read it, then write your first name in the 'surname' box. You're the...
