HELLO!We are looking for a BASS guitarist!We are looking for people with great feel, who are not only able to make noise but are able to leave space when need be. Our goal is to put together a full line up to start gigging as soon as possible. We have a lot of material written waiting to be tweaked and then recorded/gigged. It would be great to have people interested in writing music, but we must stress we have a strong direction which we are happy with, so it would have to be within the boundaries of our sound. Our influences are: Turtles, Monkees, Beatles, Kinks, doves, Ben folds five, the fratellis, supergrass, Blur, divine comedy, Os Mutantes, trad jazz and just good song writing. Our aim is to write short solid, intelligent pop songs. We are 4 guys (drums, rhythm guitar and singer/kazoo maestro). We are late twenties to early 30s, all with a lot of experience (studios, gigs, management etc.). We practice at least twice a week in the hackney/Islington area. We would like people of a similar age. Sex, race etc is completely unimportant.. just people who love music, performing and who are serious and committed.
