The SplitzHorns were created in 2001 by cobbling together the brass sections of The Splitters (DoTheDog Records) and The Beautiful South (Sony/BMG) to record for Vibronics (Scoops Records). Together they have recorded and performed for a variety of artists including, among others:-

The Splitzhorns are busy with The Splitters, The Dub Pistols and Vibronics across Britain and Europe. The section have recently provided brass for Jersey Budd on his debut album which is already getting a lot of hype nationwide and is set to be a big selling album of 2008 and features guest appearances from Tom Meighan (Kasabian) and Julie Sunshine (Happy Mondays).
We are Alto/Baritone Saxophone/ Flute, with Trumpet and Alto/ Bass/ Soprano Trombone. We are the main session brass section for the BatheySphere studio, part of UK digital roots dub label Scoops Records, and also for Convolution Records recording studio in Leicester (featured below).
