After walking away from a long and successful career in the theater, it was time for a sabbatical for Todd. But it wasn't long before the creative fire, which ran through his veins brought him back to where he was most comfortable. THE STAGE.Perched a top a lifeguard stand in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, Todd wrote the music and lyrics to his debut release, Down By The Pier.
Not surprisingly the music was a blend of poetic and rhetorical lyrics, haunting music with dramatic edge that was later translated into charismatic stage shows the like's of, that had not been witnessed since Jim Morrison and the Doors in the early 1970's.The Realm was on fire and quickly became on of the hottest independent acts on the road captivating and mesmerizing audiences wherever they played. But as quickly as they burst upon the music scene The Realm vanished.A new chapter was born but, the music will live forever.Free MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
On a hot summer night,
The stranger walked polluted streets,
With the chill of loneliness in his heart.
He came to the door,
Where the night life flourished,
And lost souls,
Are raped of their morality.
There she sat, his prey,
Orphan of solitude,
Her heart torn and jaded,
By carnal debauchery,
She looked into his eyes,
And realized that tonight,
She had found true love.
There was nothing to say,
There was nothing to hide,
Let's rise and fall like the ocean tide.
I looked at you, you looked at me
Said Baby lets get out of here
Seems we both want the same thing
Come on you got nothing to fear
I'll take you for a ride
To the ocean side
Won't tell you what to do
Just figure out my eyes
Come on Baby make your move
Gimme a big surprise
Let's rise and fall like the ocean tide
Let's rise and fall by the ocean side
I fall in love as I watch you glide
And see you come like a new sunrise
Here comes the dawn of a brand new day
But tonight's not far away
We'll meet again by the ocean side
Rise and fall like the ocean tide
Let's rise and fall like the ocean tide
Let's rise and fall by the ocean side
I fall in love as I watch you glide
And see you come like a new sunrise
There we were in the darkness
Two strangers in the night
But our eyes could see a likeness
That made it seem alright
We didn't know each others name
But we did not need to converse
We'll let the passion speak
We'll let the passion speak
For all our words
That we need not to rehearse
We'll let the passion speak
For all our words
That we need not to rehearse
